So, often keeping up with this excitement, we make the reservation for the flight ticket in advance, but when the time is near, one thing or the other comes up, and people generally leave, we have no option other than canceling their flight ticket. But if the booking was made with Delta, you don’t have to worry as the airlines can reschedule Delta flights. As per this option, passengers can reschedule their flight tickets with Delta Airlines to the pre/post date. But before proceeding with rescheduling, the passengers are advised to go through the airlines policies given by the airlines.

Delta Airlines Reschedule Policy

As per the 24 hours policy of the airlines, if the passengers make any change in their flight ticket during the initial 24-hour booking, they don’t have to pay any charges for rescheduling their flight ticket.
If Delta makes rescheduled the flight ticket after 24 hours of the flight ticket, then you have to pay the charges for rescheduling your flight ticket.

If, while making the changes in your flight ticket, the fare chargers of the new flight exceed the ticket's original price. In that case, the passengers have to pay the fare difference in the flight ticket amount.
If the fare prices of the new flight ic less than the original flight fae, the remaining amount will get credited to the passenger's bank account.
The flight change charges depend upon a few conditions, i.e., the tie left for the scheduled departure of your flight, type of ticket fare, conditions applied for changing the routes, and the allotment of flight cabin.

Process of rescheduling your flight ticket with Delta Airlines

The passengers are allowed to make changes to their flight tickets in many ways. The list and the steps are mentioned here as follows.

Via Online

Get onto the official website of Delta Airlines and select the ‘Manage Booking’ option and proceed further.
After choosing the Delta Airlines flight booking, fill out the required credentials like the PNR number and the passenger's last name to proceed further.
Once you get onto the flight page, you must select your flight and proceed further with your reserved flight.
Choose the option of change and proceed further with the rescheduling; you are required to fill in all the details of the passenger and the date and time you wish to schedule your flight departure. The passengers can reschedule their flight to the same destinations as they have mentioned before.
After making all the required changes proceed further to make the payment for the change, if applicable.
Once getting onto the payment page, follow the on-screen instructions and pay the charges and the fare difference, if any.

Via Phone Call- The passengers are also allowed to reschedule their flight tickets by calling the customer service executive of the airline. To call the airline's agent, you need to get the customer service number from the ‘contact us’ page on the airline's website.

Dial the number, and you have to follow the IVR instructions after getting connected.
Press 1, to talk in English.
Press 2, to talk to any other language.
Press 3, to proceed with the change.
Press 4, for the cancellation of your flight.
After selecting an appropriate option again, you must press 9 to connect with the airline's agent.
You may have to wait for a while, after which the customer service agent to connect with you.
